Your safari starts here, and we're as excited about getting going as you are. We're really looking forward to meeting you, introducing you to your guide, and taking you out on the first steps of your safari.

Kenya's capital is your gateway to the national parks and reserves where you'll enjoy your safari. Nairobi is a dynamic, intriguing city, rich in local culture. It has a number of wildlife-themed attractions to help get you excited about what lies ahead. Nairobi also has wonderful restaurants serving a range of cuisines, as well as good nightlife, busy markets and excellent accommodation.

Afternoon

We will pick you up from Nairobi Airport this afternoon and take you to the next stage of your journey.
We will meet and greet you this afternoon and make sure that everything is ready for you to begin enjoying your trip with us.

Day 2 & 3

Day 2 & 3 Masai Mara National Reserve

We think you'll love the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the best places to watch wildlife anywhere in Kenya. You're almost guaranteed to see plenty of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas. With so many impalas, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and other prey species here, as well as over 500 bird species, you'll see plenty of safari action. Black rhinos are possible in the Mara Triangle. Also everywhere are elephants, giraffes and hippos, and everyone who visits falls in love with the Masai Mara's classic safari landscapes.

Day 2, Olare Motorogi Conservancy

Olare Motorogi Conservancy (which includes Olare Orok Conservancy) is one of the best conservancies close to the Masai Mara National Reserve. It's a fantastic place to see big cats and other Mara specials, while very few safari vehicles are allowed here.

Rest of Day

There's no better way to see and experience the Masai Mara than on one of our guided game drives. You'll love the chance to see the Mara's iconic animals and landscapes.

Afternoon

Watch the sunset and enjoy a sundowner of a few drinks with us in Olare Motorogi Conservancy. It's a magical time of the day.

Activities Day 3

Early Morning

Look down on the Masai Mara in all its glory when you go on a balloon safari. As dawn breaks over the Mara, you'll watch as a beautiful natural panorama unfolds down below. Watch also for wildlife moving across the plains.

Afternoon

Come with us for a guided game drive this afternoon in Masai Mara National Reserve. As always when Africa's animals are involved, there's so much for you to look forward to.

Accommodation – Day 2 & 3

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Nowhere in the Masai Mara has better views than the Mara Serena Safari Lodge, which surveys the reserve from a wonderfully elevated location. Most rooms, which are large and colorful, have similar views, and you can take it all in from the swimming pool as well. The restaurant and bar are also fine places to relax, and the wildlife nearby is always good.

Day 4

Day 4 Lake Naivasha

One of the most beautiful of Kenya's Rift Valley lakes, Lake Naivasha is a pretty place where you're likely to see hippos, and where zebras and giraffes roam the lakeshore. It's a lovely interlude during your safari.

Transfer by Road, Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara Camp to Lake Naivasha

Afternoon

This afternoon you'll go on a boat trip on Lake Naivasha. It's a chance to enjoy a quiet moment or two and take in the pretty surroundings on this popular lake. Keep an eye out for hippos as you travel around.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Climbing gently from the shores of the lake, Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort is filled with charm. Lovely grounds with lots of trees shelter luxury rooms in stone bungalows, while waterbuck and other antelopes often graze here. Watch out for wandering hippos at night! Amenities include a good restaurant, a cozy bar and a gorgeous pool.

Day 5

Day 5 Nairobi National Park

On the outskirts of one of the busiest cities in Africa, Nairobi National Park is a fantastic park to visit and one of the best places to see rhinos anywhere in Kenya. Also, you'll almost certainly see lions, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The park's astonishing bird list has more than 500 recorded species. Seeing tall city buildings not far away on the horizon only adds to the experience.

Morning

Transfer by Road, Lake Naivasha to Nairobi National Park

Afternoon

You’ll look for wildlife and learn all about what you see in Nairobi National Park on a guided game drive led by our professional guide this afternoon.

Accommodation – Day 5

Nairobi Safari Club

Attractive suites with classic traditional decor and good views from the upper floors await you at Nairobi Safari Club. There's an onsite bar and restaurant, as well as a gym. The hotel also has a good central location that puts you right in the heart of the city, and it's popular with both safari travelers and Kenyan businesspeople.
